Dr. Rajiv Sharma

Dr. Rajiv SharmaDr. Rajiv Sharma is a Research Director at the Stanford Research Initiative on Long Term Investing (SLTI). Rajiv’s research interests are on the design and governance of innovative institutional investment models, and technology solutions for better alternative asset investment decision making. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of Alternative Investments and Journal of Economic Geography and with international organisations such as the World Bank, OECD and United Nations. His latest book Reframing Finance: New models of long-term investment management, which defines a new model of investing into alternative assets, has been adopted by large institutional investors around the world including US public pension fund, CalSTRS and Indian sovereign wealth fund, NIIF. He has been an advisor and consultant to large institutional investors around the world. He received his Doctorate from Oxford University in the field of Pensions, Sovereign Wealth Funds and Infrastructure Investment and a Bachelor of Engineering and Commerce first class honours degree from Auckland University.
